Folks Finally finished with the 1970s era Northwest Orient repaint project. These are on their way to Mark ASAP. Presenting: N359US 707-351C Northwest Orient Cargo 1974N373US 707-351C Northwest Orient 1972 This is a "Hybrid-scheme" NWOA had on many of their 707s, 720B's and 727 fleet at the time of the livery changeover. The 60's era tail with 70's era fuselage livery {I happen to really like this one, the tail lettering took over 2.5 hours to get just the right look to it built up, but was well worth it and will be used on my 60's era Northwest schemes for the 720B/707s coming later}N386US 707-351C Northwest Orient standard colors on the combi.N379US 707-351B Northwest Orient standard colors on the all-passenger 320B. NWOA operated at least 5 straight passenger models of the 320B, from N377US-N381US alongside it's earlier 351B-SCD fleet. Their total 707 fleet numbered 36, including 5 351B-SCD's, 5 351B's, 26 707-351C's. Hope you folks enjoy these! Kind Regards from Taiwan! John

Hi Tony I think it's the brightness of the red that's showing through. ;D I just checked the PSD's and they're on in the layers. Packaging up the all-cargo one and the hybrid 60's- 70's era birdies now. {FWIW..I remember this livery quite vividly and the redness of the tail and text on the fuselage was very evident as seen in person, versus photography available at the time. NWOA used a quite distinct version of red paint on their planes and it truly grabbed your attention the moment you saw it. I can understand how there's a sense that the shadowing might be off, but that's not so. It's very much on. NW used a rather intense blend of red at the time. It stayed pretty much the same until the last livery {aka "The Bowling Shoe"} used, now the red in the current "Metal Paint Clone of Virgin Atlantic" NWA livery is a bit darker.} Regards John
