Early shots of her in the sim. Planning to do the 720A and B model from these textures. Going to be a LOT of fun working on the airline that was "The o-ooonly way to fly". Thanks Mark for the help with the source files with the Indian Chieftain logos and 60's era WA scheme! Putting them to good work here. Left side is essentially done barring any issues with the textures. Then port this over to the right side and she'll be complete. A really quick one to do overall. The logo up front and the tail were the most difficult areas to get in and monkey with. Also added grey panel textures on the engine "sucker doors" too. Closeup detail of the Western "Indian Chieftain" logo. Enjoy! John

Well..I've made several changes to several parts of the airplane. Changes cover the fuselage, tail and especially that Indian Chieftain stripe area up front. -I had a long look at the stripes near the over-wing exits and particularly the right side galley doors. I needed to re-do something with the top edges. -The Tail logo required a little more rounded look in the back and more flush with the way the rearmost edge of the tail matched it in angle. Also moved the US flag back a bit on the top area of the rudder as it was not in contact with the rudder 'actuator rub' area with the fin. -Then came the complete Re-do of the stripe from the nose radome back to just under the forward sides. I had it curved a way bit too deep on the original and had to redraw it. I'm liking what I see now. I think this is the one. Barring anything else, I'll get the LD3 container logo done and she's finished. Then I can get into the 720s with this scheme. {3 of them. 720A turbojet ex-PNA in full WA Indian colors with door outlines, the 720B in WA Indian delivery scheme colors without door outlines, then the final 720B in WA Indian colors right before they went with the "Big W scheme" ;D} Take a look.. Enjoy! John

Looking "GOOD" John ! I like your idea for all these other WA aircraft in the Indian Head scheme .... but .... don't forget that very rare aircraft too which they inherited when somone elses order was banned by the US government .... due to the political stance taken by that certain small Caribbean nation during the late 1960's/early 1960's .... you know the one I mean ! Trust you got the references I sent you the other day for that particular "RARE BIRD" Mark C AKL/NZ
