Small Problem here Tony: All of the wing textures should have the main part of the wings painted gull grey, there should be the MEA titling on top of the left wing and the bottom of the right wing, and the reg on top of the right wing as well as the bottom of the left wing, all in dark red. Example here:- Sorry for nagging And you missed one! OD-AGV Circa 1988 With 'New Q' Titles due to Comtrans Stage III Conversion Ben

Apart from the models .... can anyone produce "actual photographic evidence" to substantiate these wing titles and registration .... the registrations in particular I can accept with ease of course.
Also .... we'd need conformation as to whetherr or not such wing titles were applied to "ALL" versions of MEA livery ?
I'm not suggesting they weren't or that there might have been variation throughout the MEA fleet.
All I'm really suggesting is that models can often be classicly wrong and an extremly unreliable source !
Unfortunately I've got no MEA material showing wing views .... and I'm kind of running out of time now to be able to search.

HMMM .... OK .... I guess that then nails at least 1 era of MEA wing detailing. Since wing titles appear to have been applied to the mid 1990's livery version .... then I guess it's reasonable to assume they were indeed also applied to all the others too. That image of the aircraft with those wing titles painted out doesn't really surprise me at all .... it's about what I would expect with and aircraft that's obviously been decommissioned and awaiting her final fate. Whilst we do strive for accuracy we've gotta let the decision to edit these wings rest with Tony. 6 aircraft is a lot of wings to edit when one's pushed for time .... and I do know that Tony (like myself too) has a heck of a lot on his plate at the moment with realworld business, so, any update might not be available too soon Thankfully I never fly from the outside .... I don't really fancy "wing walking" ;D Mark C AKL/NZ
