This had been a Work In Progress for many weeks now...... the amount of times i gave up on it trying to get the mapping of the rainbow stripes right is unbelievable. I'm just glad i never have to paint it again!!! Job Done!! ;D

Reflect the very late afternoon FS sunlight on directly those surfaces .... with a real dark stormy backdrop .... and the whole thing would look like a million bucks ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Actually .... when one looks at this "Golden Freighter", then thinks back to the CV880, it then gives one a reasonably good impression as to how the CV880 (and possibly the later CV990 too) might have looked, had it been practical to adopt Howard HUGHES intended concept for a jetliner contructed of annodised gold coloured metal.
