I remember this old girl comming through NZAA during the early 1980's.
This was when AIR NEW ZEALAND, AIR NIUGINI, and CATHAY PACIFIC operated a "tripartite" agreement on the route to Hong Kong .... each operating the route in turn for 6 months at a time.
AIR NEW ZELAND, and CATHAY PACIFIC both serviced the route direct with B747-200's .... whilst poor old AIR NIUGINI could only compete with B707-320C's .... which were also forced to operate via Port Moresby and Manila.
Looks great Tony .... and it's noice to see her available in company with the even more rare AIR NIUGINI B720-B.
