Sirs
I thought it might be nice and at least roughly accurate to add the Delco Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System Gauges to my DC8 73F panel.
try as might however I cannot get it to control the aircraft!
Is it possible to do or are the other gauges on the panel not CIVA friendly?
Anyone know?
Phil

The DELCO CIVA INS system for FS was a utility by Marco RAVENOLLI .... as I recall .... and available from the old SIMUFLY website which has now closed.
I don't use it myself, but, so far as I'm aware, it's perfectly compatible with the all our DC8's.
Hopefully someone with more intimate knowledge/experience of this particular utility might advise us accordingly.
Sorry I can't be of more assistance here myself.

the civa ins works flawlessly with the DC8 autopilot. ensure the AP is in heading select mode, then engage one of the ins's, it'll follow suit. do not have it on gpsnav or vor-loc.
cheers
JP.

OK - thanks JP, Mark - I will have another go! I'm not sure I tried Heading mode on the autopilot I was trying GPS if I recall correctly!
Thanks
