Nick BOTAMER's our authority on all things TWA and ALASKA AIRLINES related. Over lunch during early October I recall him telling me the that TWA's assocition with B720-B was primarily to gain fanjet experience in advance of delivery of their fanjet powered B707's. Nick might like to comment further regarding this later "YES" .... a very rare subject indeed that a lot of folk probably didn't even know about, and a subject I've been advocating quirtly for the past several months too. "A VERY WELCOME ADDITION" indeed ! Mark C AKL/NZ

One or two tiny things here... First, the TWA titles on the tail need to be lower. The top of the letters should be about 1/4 of the way down the spring tab and the bottom about 1/3 of the way up. In the SuperJet titles, BOEING is written over the "uper" with the top level with the top of the S and J. There should be no overwing exit paths. It is difficult to tell from the angle of the shots, but the TWA titles on the wings look a bit wide. Also, they should be set just slightly ahead of the ailerons, extending so that half of the letters are in the metal area in front of the aileron and the other half in the grey painted area on the wing center. The passenger windows should have a slightly enhanced outline, with the exception of the overwind exit window, which has no outline. The white should extend just slightly below the black of the anti glare panel on the nose. Lastly, fleet number 2793 should appear just above the forward nose gear door on each side of the fuselage. Again, just one or two minor things.

On a serious level Nick, shall I leave this for you to do and withdraw my paint....... I just wanted to kill an afternoon without resorting to plastic model kits!!! ;D
Up to you mate, and I can always forward you the new model by Gary.

Nah, it's fine as it is. There's maybe only three people besides myself that would notice anyways. Besides, left to me it probably wouldn't get done till sometime in 2009!
