Hello.
I was hoping someone could answer a quick question for me regarding the 707-323C panel.
I put this plane together for my father's system and he has a question about it. I would look into it more myself but he lives in another state so I can't exactly sit at his machine.
He sent me a message saying... there is a warning light that works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. This is titled configuration warning light. It is suppose to sound when the flaps and or the elevator trim is not set properly for take off (I think). Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it doesn't. On landing if it starts going off you can't shut it up no matter what you do.
Does anyone have any idea what he is talking about and how to fix it? I know when I put the plane together for him I used the correct install methods as well as the appropriate panel for the 323C.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
I think the light also comes in when you have a certain flap setting with gear up.

I've had a similar audible warning and flashing light during approches too.
In my case I had full flap and gear were extended and I let my speed reduce a bit too much .... which is when both warning light and alarm activated.
When I increased speed somewhat both the warning light and alarm discontinued.
That's my experience.
Try flying the approach with a bit more power on/a little faster and that should sufficient to avoid both alarm and light.
