I am using an entry level LOGITECH "attack 3" joystick. I calibrated it from the game controller section in Control Panel. Once satisfied with that, I then calibrated it in FSUIPC v3.75 as per the instructions by Pete.
The joystick control over aircraft was brilliant. However, this calibration did not last long. I had to repeat the whole process again. Is there a way to calibrate this joystick correctly and permanently ? Or do they have to be recalibrated every now and again ?
Once calibrated in FSUIPC the centre readings für IN and OUT are zero. But after a while when I centre the joystick, the IN and OUT readings no longer show zero but other values. Do I ignore this, or does it mean the joystick is not calibrated 100% correctly.
Any boffins or gurus out there - your help will be greatly appreciated.
Could someone also please explain how I could attach photos.
Regards Trevor

I too use the Logitec Pro...Little different from yours..I never calibrated with Fusip..
But I did have to go thru three sticks (replaced for free under warrenty) till I got one that had good software that allowed the center line to stay centered..It always went wacky..Try to reinstall your software again perhaps. And if its new perhaps return it..Could be software related...
Thats all I got..Hope it helps....Mason

You need to upload you images to an image hosting service .... like PHOTOBUCKET. To post your images for everyone to see here select the "picture frame" icon from the "ADD TAGS" menu bar (visable wheever you post here) .... which will result in double labels displaying on your posting. Next place the "direct URL link" for your hosted image/s between the 2 labels .... and post normally. That should see you right ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Your latest joystick - has it held you 1st calibration or have you had to do a new calibration at some point ?

This joystick has beed in use now for app. two years.. But the first two were horrible, and after researching and reading it seemed that the problem was their software ..
I have never even had to calibrate it.Out of the box it has performed perfectaly......
Perhaps their website has updated drivers for your model.....Hope this helps....Mason

Trevor, I used an Attack 3 for a while and constantly suffered calibration issues with it. From information found on the web and through contacting Logitech customer service it seems that this is a common issue for these joysticks. In fact, when I called them about mine the sent me a new one free of charge. I have since switched to the Saitek Cyborg EVO and have had no problems since.
