Look Here:- www.airliners.net/photo/-/-/0644432/L/Found it! But, if you look closely, you can see there is a short body (138B ) in the same colours in the hangar. Can anyone shed any light on this? Ben

Looks like your image aint displaying Ben .... at least for me it's not.
Even without seeing it, I hazard guessing, that it might be a B720-B rather than a B707-138B .... considering the rarety of the latter .... and especially if it's a relatively recent photo too.
I could be wrong of course !
Whatever it is .... if we can "NAIL IT" .... then I guess you might just have created a bit more work fo yourself .... maybe ! ;D

I just fixed you link Ben !
Now we can all see "WATCHU TALKIN ABOUT WILLIS" ;D
Certainly it's a short body .... that LE wing glove is quite prominant in the photo.
I still fancy it's being a B720-B though !

Well, according to Wimbi Dira's web site www.wda.cd/ , They only operate a 707-323, among other aircraft types. This may be now owned by another company. It's a mystery. Haha.

Could also be an aircraft they (WDA) might have acquired .... but .... never eventually pressed into service .... for whatever reason.
Sometimes that does happen.

Just before this matter is closed, take a look at the most recent photo of this area www.airliners.net/photo/-/-/1027861/L/Theres still a blue 707 in the same place as the 2004 photo. Yes, I know it could be the 707-300 from the first photo, but since its in the exact same place at the exact same angle, Mark could be onto something about it being a different angle. A few other aircraft in the photo havent moved in 2 years either, for example the tristar is possibly the same one (though it could be the once that got replaced by the 767 a year or so ago). The other 707 in the hangar itself infront of the blue 707 doesnt look like its changed in 2 years. However unlikely its still possible that the 707-138B Ben mentioned might not be the blue aircraft in the photo.

Theres still a blue 707 in the same place as the 2004 photo Yeah the photo is marked 2006 and it is a fact it was repainted and repossessed in 2007. Its not the 320C.....and nobody mentioned anything about a different angle. wfu Fact! I have cross-reference this with numerous publications including LAAS & Air Britain and the aircraft in both shots tail-out is 9Q-CLK. Ben
