Hi, I have downloaded the latest revision for B707-320 panel, exactly the B707-320advc.1965 panel. I like this new panel a lot because introduces several nice features like the Vspeeds, a better UP as well as the Right Rear panel (FixedWindow 32) where a duct pressure gauge is included. The problem is that the External Power doesn't work. I have done whatever possible to no avail so I had to reload the previous panel. I noticed that the bitmap matching this window (Rear Right) is the same as the old panel, that is, it doesn't show the duct pressure gauge. Would it be the reason? By the way, I could include the Vspeeds in the old panel and it works good but when trying to do the same with the External Power switch I didn't have the same luck. Would appreciate very much your help. hectorp

"HOLA" Hector .... Firstly .... there have been "NO CHANGES" whatsoever to any of the actual B707 TYPE panel files. All that's happened is .... 4 new panels have been introduced, for B367-80, B707-138 (1959), B707-138B, and B707-138B (1965) .... and .... a new B707 CORE FILES package also released which benefits "ALL" our B707/720/C135 assigned panels. I can assure you that "ALL" systems employed in our B707 panels (including the "EXTERNAL POWER" switch on the F/E panel, and ground power assistance for engine startup proceedures on the overhead panel) all work fine .... even with this new CORE FILES package .... as far as I'm aware ! You must have installed something incorrectly .... or .... you possibly aren't following the precribed enfine startup procedures correctly. You should have all 3 new B707 GAUGES installed in for FS "GAUGES" folder. You should have all the panel WAV sounds installed inside your FS "SOUNDS" folder. You should have you panels installed inside the FSFSCONV folder .... then aliassed back to the "PANEL" folder of your aircraft. Alternatively the panel files can also be installed directly inside your aircraft folder too .... if you prefer ! We use the FSFSCONV method to avoid unnecessary duplication of the same panel in each aircraft folder so as to save HD space .... i.e. it's far more practica/betterl to alias all aircraft back to the FSFSCONV folder for their panels. For correct panel engine startup procedures please refer my extensive "B707 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" posting .... which you'll find on the "ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT" forum page. This particular posting contains a full engine startup tutorial which explains stage by stage precisely what should be done and in which precise order. As I said above .... you may not have installed something correctly, or, you may be missunderstandingd one of the essential procedural details .... which is maybe why you're experiencing a problem. Hi Mark, thanks for your prompt response. I have to say that you were 100% right. I was wrong for not following the instructions properly. Everything is OK now. Apologies for my mistake. It is a very nice panel. Hector
