Do any of the British readers know which shops sell this FSX scenery add-on?
I'm not comfortable with doing financial transactions online...

You might not have another choice George ! The products of most major FS supplliers are more easily now procured by online transaction .... mostly because a lot of retail stores are reluctant to have excess stock sitting on their shelves for long periods of time. That's the way worldwide shopping is moving George .... and has been moving for the past several years now I'm afraid. None-the-less .... someone might be able to recommend an old fashioned style retail/"drive-in" type source of supply .... where you can pay cold/hard "CASH" .... then run away with the boxed goodies .... just like we useed to do them "BAD OLD DAY" ! ;D The most reputable source of FS supply within the UK used to be "THE ASSOCIATES" .... if they're still in existence I haven't bought any payware since 2000 Mark C BOG/CO

If your going to buy online George buy it straight as a download from the US, as you will be basically getting it half price. I did with standard Ultimate Terrain, and never regretted it.

This's probably getting a little "OFF TOPIC" in respect of George's specific "ULTIMATE TERRAIN X SCENERY" purchase query .... but .... others might like to know what I'm about to say here. The best FS mail order service I've ever dealt with of the years and which is now US based .... though not a download service so far as I'm aware .... was "PC AVIATOR" .... whom I believe are based in Turtle Beach, Florida. Here's their website address .... www.pcaviator.com/shop/index.phpThey'll mail the full boxed product to any subscriber/client and to anywhere at all in the world. Fast, reliable, and very professional service .... based on my many years of experience with them. Even though their postage rates may be a wee bit higher than most they're still worth dealing with .... in my oppinion, but sorry George, you're undoubtedly going to have to live with the times and start using your card. Anyone who's careful/responsible and takes all due security measures shouldn't ever have a problem. Mark C BOG/CO

George
My preferred method of payment these days is "Paypal", and, even though they've recieved some bad press over the last few years they are yet to let me down.
Have a think

I don't think my internet connection's up to a multi-gigabyte download such as that - especially as I believe that my ISP chokes off bandwidth when faced with downloads of this type...

Then just negotiate with the supplier George ! That's what I've always done in the past .... when I was buying payware that is. 9 times out of 10 experiences I've found suppliers to be only too willing to assist .... especially when extraordinary circumstances do exist. After all .... it's in there own interests in order to "move product and make money". Easy ! Mark C BOG/CO

I decided to buy it using a pre-pay card -- it may be more expensive than paying directly from my bank account, but it'll lessen my worries (and my parents') concerning the danger of hackers stealing my bank details. Hopefully it'll arrive some time next week

I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it George If you want a very nice mesh terrain .... try the 40 meter New Zealand mesh which I believe is procurable from "GEOGRAFIX NEW ZEALAND" for a very modest fee considering both it's accuracy and quality. You can't beat the rolling hills and alpine ranges of "good old little New Zealand" .... as I'm sure Tony will agree having seen their previous 150 and 75 meter mesh terrain for New Zealand. There's also some very good mesh now available for Colombia too, some of which is equally geographically impressive .... Camilo was showing me some great looking FS stuff here only yesterday ! BTW, should this thread be moved to the "Payware" forum? I wasn't sure which forum was most appropriate for it...

NAH .... let it ride !
It started off legitimately and correctly placed by you originally (requesting advice/help before becomming more payware oriented in make up) .... it's just that things have digressed a bit along the way.
