OK .... thanks for advising us.
We might need to get someone to look at that later.
OK .... it would have been just as easy for you to just "RIGHT CLICK" on the dowloanded PANEL.CFG .... then "UNCHECK" the READ ONLY attribute/box .... but .... so long as you've got everything working properly then that´s the main thing.
OK First things first .... some of our B707/720 panel range are the only HJG panel equipped with INS. Remember .... not all these aircraft had INS .... and we've tried to go for period accuracy in respect of aircraft types and their systems. Neither our CV880, CV990, or DC8 panels are yet equipped with INS .... but again .... we've future plans to equip at least "some" of these with INS, and again focussing on period accuracy in rerspect of aircraft types.
"If you need an INS system like the DELCO CIVA, then this should be fully adaptable to our panels .... if you know what you're doing in respect of the PANEL.CFG modifications required in order to incoporate it.
The DELCO CIVA INS gauge is downloadable (I believe) from ....
www.simufly.com/PLEASE NOTE: we do not support the DELCO CIVA INS gauge. If you are new to our DC8's and their panels then the following data may be considered essential reading .... please refer to my
"DC8 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" which may be viewed on the
"ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT" forum page.
I have also endeavoured to prepare Similar data too in respect of both B707/720, and CV880/CV990 aircraft .... per my following and similarly extensive postings on this same forum page and which are entitled ....
"B707 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES""CV880/990 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES"for V-REF data and the like I additionally recommend you search for (on FLIGHTSIM.COM, or AVSIM.COM) and download the
"DC8 PERFORMANCE & LIMITATIONS" documents by Matt ZAGOREN ....
dc8perf.zipThis file contains performance charts for DC8-20, -50, -61, & -62 .... as well as quite an extensive and useful "DOUGLAS DC8 PERFORMANCE & LIMITATIONS" manual.
Additionally again .... Jim HALINDA has uploaded performance data for both DC8-40, 50, & -63 per the following named files ....
dc8perfcharts.zip
dc8manual.zipAll of this data .... plus my own extensive HJG notes should provide you with all you essentially need to know in relation to most DC8 class aircraft (and others) with the exception of the SUPER 70's.
And just going "OFF TOPIC" for a moment in the intersts of being "THOROUGH" .... Matt ZAGOREN also released a
"B707 PERFORMANCE & LIMITATIONS" documents too entiltled ....
b707perf.zipI'm not sure which B707 versions this covers though.
