Would like to see the Delta 880 scheme which followed the 1963 scheme and preceded the 1969-N8806E scheme. Looked almost exactly like the 1969 scheme except titled "Delta Air Lines." I think was only painted on 2 aircraft. Also, need the United DC-8-30 1967 scheme and the National DC-8-20 from the 60s. Thanks. These particular schemes have been missing from the great HJG collection from day 1.

Links would be greatly appreciated, or anything that could provide our painters with some material.....

Airlinersnet has shot of the Delta 880 N8817E (less the Air Lines).
Dont have the file number as its been part of my rotating desktop background for a few years now.

Given the popularity of DELTA .... this CV880-22 variation of their livery (less the "AIR LINES" titles) could be a worthy addition to our CV880 incentory I'd still like to see evidence of those supposedly rare UNITED and NATIONAL DC8 schemes .... because I thought we had these (at least) well covered. Clarification about the UA and NA DC-8s. The UA -30 scheme is the same as was used on the -20, so the only difference is that the registrations would be different. The UA -30s were from Pan Am(8),Panagra/Pan Am(1), and SAS(2), reg. N8207U a -31; N8209U, N8215U, N8217U, N8240U, N8243U, N8245U, N8246U, and N8252U, N8258U, N8266U, all series 32. Source of information, World's Airliner Registrations, 3rd edition 1971--Ian Allan publisher, Gordon Swanborough author. And I remember seeing these aircraft myself. Similarly, with National DC-8-30 liveries have indeed been produced, but they also had three -20s(21) N6571C, N6572C, and N6573C. Same reference book, but has no pictures of the aircraft.

Despite the fact that I (personally) think these liveries are a "GOOD IDEA".
Again .... we require "YOU" to provide here for us good realworld photographic evidence of these.
Beyond that .... it's really up to our painters whether or not any of them want to take these on.

Thanks for the image links guys.
Dave's is actually the correct definitive version for the NA DC8-21.
That image of the NA DC8-51 features the same basic livery but different ("airline of the stars") tail logo.
As much as I'd like to see the NA 21 represented .... "NO PROMISES" !!!!
It's up to our painters of course.
