Hello, A few weeks ago I tried to install the 707-420 in FSX, despite a lot of help and patience from this forum, I was unsuccessful, I gave up.
However, today i decided to have another go, still no success at first, after installing, the panel, the aircraft was not visible in the FSX Folder, I then went back to the FSFSCONV folder and where the text gave instructions on renaming the panel cfg, I had been following the instructions to the letter and leaving `Panel cfg` and `FS2004 cfg` when I deleted the `cfg` and left just `panel` and `panel_FS2004`all was well, I now have your Boeing 707-420 and 420 panel in FSX.
This might help anyone with similar problems, which is why I am writing this post, this is not meant as a complaint or moan to this forum, you cannot tell us everything there must be times when you administrators feel like strangling some of us, I am living proof that eventually we do get the message and we learn from the experience, many thanks for your help and providing me with the chance to fly the Rolls Royce 707.

...I had been following the instructions to the letter ... Hmm.... Btw. This is "the letter" : (be sure to use the panel_fsx.cfg file by renaming panel.cfg to panel.cfg.bak, and then renaming panel_fsx.cfg to panel.cfg)
