I was wondering if the markings on one of the E-8's could be changed? The tail # is 3290 and what is on there is incorrect. It should only have GA, the tail number in bold below that, and that multi colored banner at the top of the tail should be black with Georgia centered on it. And no 92 ACW on the tail as that is not really on there and the squadron that operates the JSTARS is the 116th.
I'm waiting on my computer and once I get it, I'm downloading that aircraft. I'm a crew chief for the E-8's and that was the very first aircraft that I worked on when I got to this squadron. And I can't wait to download it and take it up for it's first flight. ;D

Oh! So you probably know our 707/135 designer then? The two of you must be at the same base?

I might, depends on if he's civilian or mil, and what shop and squadron. If he's a 135 designer, then he was probably with the 19th ARW which is no longer at Robins.....They're now a 4 fan trash can squad out at Little Rock AFB (or they're about to be). The majority of the 19th guys have gone to Seymor Johnson AFB and a few came to the 116th.

Actually if you are a CC then I probably do know you. I am a QA inspector at the 116th.
The version of 3290 here is as it was in 1997, before I got to Robins in 2002. This was the 93rd ACW markings before the blend. I can do up a current 3290 with GA markings. It wouldn't take a whole lot. If you look at our 2000 and 0006, you will see these are the current schemes.

Ahhh, the infamous QA. In that case, you probably seen me around.....but not sure. I've only been here for about a month and a half. And I'm going through the FTD course you probably know my instructor Sgt Rhonemus, he had the chance to pay you guys a visit on thursday to clear up a few things about 3290.
I never knew the 116th was split at one point, I thought it has always been a blend. Yeah, I saw those and was wondering why those were current and 3290 wasn't.
