Nice stuff Michael .... particularly the SP with the PAN AM 50th anniversary logo.
I didn't know any of the SP's supported the final PAN AM livery.
PAN AM used to send these birds all the way down to Auckland during the mid to late 1970's .... on direct LAX/AKL services which then went on to SYD and return .... until replaced later with B747-100's which then operated the LAX/AKL/SYD service via HLU .... until PAN AM's South Pacific operations were absorbed by UNITED AIRLINES. They (UA) continued using B741's down to AKL from around 1986 until the late 1990's, but, also used SP's inherited from PAN AM, and DC10-30's for a shiort time until the early 1990's .... on services through AKL which then went on to MEL, and SYD, and direct services between SFO and SYD using the SP's.
