When downloading FS WX, there is a slider to set the "speed of change". What does this do? For example, if there is a temp change from does the program change the speed of the change, like 2 seconds instead of 10??? thanks, louross.

You can avoid this problem entirely by getting Active Sky. I don't usually go in for much payware, but this is one add-on I consider absolutely indispensible for FS. You'll wonder why you went so long without it after you have it. It will update the weather during your flight by downloading the most recent metars. It is really amazing to look outside my window and see essentially the same weather that is showing up within FS using Active Sky. /sales pitch off/ Mike

Okay, thanks for the replies. Agree, Active Sky is a great program. Before, I had built a copute specifically for FS, but later I gave it away and now have a weak system. Unfortuately, I'm sure Active Sky would overload it. louross.

You can in Active Sky decide what texture size the clouds will be reducing them for PC's that maybe struggling with higher resolution clouds etc, this will help a lot

As far as I remember it indicates how instantly clouds will "pop up" in the horizon.
Instantly or more gradute ... AX normally place this slider right in the middle.
