SWEET! Someone else finally started painting this bird!!!! I eagerly await the TWA!!! Thanks Tony, this is much appreciated. Lufthansa looks fabulous!!! I've done quite a few for this and it includes my own slightly tweaked wing textures. Here are all my -100 repaints for this one. Should all be available on avsim except the Updated Pan Am. That one is not quite accurate, the screenie here of it is. I'll re upload it sometime soon. Delta's delivery scheme... Northwests delivery... This is the Mount Mitchell Pacemaker ...there is some good trivia attached to that name, who here knows??? Clipper Betsy Ross

Jim, Great looking update for the Pan Am 727-100. It will be much appreciated as always by me among others. In fact just last month I met a gentleman at the local airport flight shop who flew 727s and the A300s for the original Pan Am.

Not wishing to appear the least bit critical .... but .... unless what you've represented there is common to this particular aircraft only (DHL/EAT OO-DHR) .... I fear that shade of maroon may be way too dark.
DHL's then corporate colours were more of a reddish/maroon shade .... according to their 2 B727's based here (B727-100 VH-TBS, and B727-200 VH-DHE) during the late 1990's and prior to introduction of the current yellow livery .... photos of which I have beside me at the moment.
As mentioned above .... I'm not intending to be the least bit critical .... and are prepared to accept the possibility of variations in aircraft liveries of course .... or .... it just be the image graphic itself that's dark if you've imported the basic aircraft image to the new image environment portrayed here .... if you figure what I mean ;D
All the others are fine though .... and quite well done too !

It needs to be borne in mind (and I base this on my 30 years "PLUS" of aviation photography) that in photography colours can and will sometimes distort with film type, age, and just medium/presentation too. Total reliance upon photographic media can often be extremly misleading for a multitude of factors. In any case .... and as stated above .... I'm not condeming your work. Nor am I comparing the quality your work with anyone elses either .... simply because I don't believe it's right do that. People paint according to their ability, knowledge/understanding, and obviously the best reference material they have at hand too .... which makes each persons result individual/unique and their statement about each subject .... and I respect that ! No need to say more ! Mark C AKL/NZ
