I was hoping someone might be willing to do a McConnell AFB KC-135R with the new tail flash. Specifically I was hoping for Acft 64-14837. Being a former McConnell crew chief I've used the repaint for 61-0293 for quite a while. While I've enjoyed flying 293 using it has always made me feel a little bit like I was cheating, being that I was a dedicated crew chief on 4837. Ben's recent Ohio ANG, and March ARB repaints have looked amazing and seeing those fuselage textures convinced me to ask. If someone were willing to do this repaint I would be eternally greatful. Info on 64-14837 KC-135R (non-ARR, not MPRs equiped) on the nose under the tail number is 22 ARW 931 ARG On either side of the nose under U.S. Air Force is the AMC insignia followed by the Air Force Reserve insignia. The ruddervators have 22 on one side and ARW on the other The most unique feature of 64-14837 is the baby blue wheel caps(nose) and transducer covers(mains). These have been a crew chief tradition on this airplane for at least as long as it has been an R model. www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Boeing-KC-135R-Stratotanker/1165012/L/www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Boeing-KC-135R-Stratotanker/1165011/L/I realize that this aircraft is now assigned to Macdill AFB but I'm only interested in the McConnell paint. Thank you in advance to anyone who might be willing to paint "my" jet. iscott3

Just thought I would check to see if anyone had gotten an uncontrollable urge to do this paint in the last month.

Ok I said I would if no one dropped in to offer, so I will do it as my next task, now bear with me I am a civie paint man non-military so I will have to look at it closely to see what needs doing. I may use one of our present downloads as a donor aircraft to help me along a bit, obviously credits will go their way
