I can't see the logic in making a DC-9, but that's what she looks like to me. The DC-9, Continental Airlines, was the first jetliner I flew on, so I'm more than a little partial; I would love another DC-9.

HJG, whatever: If you build it, they will come.

I'm placing my bets on a Fokker F28.......Definately not a One-Eleven

As you all know most aircraft have been done in FS so has this one, however this one is a ground up brand new design

I was just thinking (maybe a little bit wishing) of the DC-9 because of the beautiful job you all have done with "MY" DC-8s. I thought it would be a natural progression, to be followed by the DC-10!
Whatever it is, I know HJG will do a fine job of it.

I'm still of a mind that she's a DC9. Something about the nose and wing-sweep angle pulls me in that direction. BUT, whatever she, if she's HJG, I know she'll be just fabulous and I'll be happy as a clam.

While I'm sure it's a DC-9 of some sort, the idea of a Gulfstream makes me wish it was a G-I. There's something about the old girl I really like....

Yes the G1 never saw the light of day in FS I recall seeing them at BHX whwere the local airline Birmingham Excutive (later European) had quite a few. But this new HJG jet is a jet not a prop..

The G-159 was a turboprop, but he the jet was a G-II, etc. The first time I was on a G-II, I was amazed at hoe large she was; almost as large as the DC-9-10s.
