I think what Garry probably meant to say is that Grumman won't allow anyone to produce replicas of their aircraft to be marketed comercially or without a "VENDORS CONTRACT".A lot of that stuff might have been produced before such legal implications ever arose in respect of FS .... and probably stretches right back to before FS98 too. I also imagine that because everything hosted by AVSIM is available for "FREE" download .... that then constitutes no legal infraction. The same probably applies too in respect more recently offered "FREEWARE" relating to Grumman aircraft products. Again I believe these legal issues apply more to commercial producers and those seeking to make money from manufacturing and selling replicas (in this case) of the aircraft products made by other companies .... or that use/bear the name of those companies. Interestingly .... I've recently noted any number of model kits beginning to be marketed as "747" .... rather than "Boeing 747" or "B747" That "IS" an interesting point "BLUSTAR" ! I assume MS must have paid some form of royalties to Grumman, and to Boeing, and to other aircraft manufacturers too, for rights to commercially on-sell replicas of the aircraft products these companies make as well as representing their names within various FS program releases over the years. I used to be very closely associated with THE VIP GROUP whom were one of the most highly acclaimed commercial FS software publishers during the FS98 era. In fact I knew it's proprietor well .... Kenneth KERR whom I met personally .... and still occasionally communicate with. I remember 1 year THE VIP GROUP included replicas of AMERICAN AIRLINES aircraft within 1 of their commercial CD's of addon aircraft for FS98. Within a very short time of this release Kenneth was suddenly in receipt of legal letters from AA threatening to take him to the cleaners if he didn't pay royalties to the airline, and cease marketing "their name" without authorization or in advance of a legal contract being negotiated. It got quite nasty .... and eventually resulted in the removal of all evidence of AA liveries, and name, from future VIP addon products for FS Had these FS addon products been offered as "FREEWARE" .... then no legal infraction could be deemed to have occurred. OBVIOUSLY I'M GOING TO HAVE TO POST ANOTHER IMAGE/S OF THE NEW HJG "MYSTERY PLANE" IN ORDER TO TRY AND GET THIS TOPIC "BACK ON TOPIC". ;D Mark C AKL/NZ

That's a great idea. Seems only 737-200 and 700s have them as freeware. Aero Mexico Delivery -10 and (30?) and Continental Delivery would be great additions. With new Aerosoft Mexican Airports and the Existing Freeware Sceneries you have a complete FS experience whether docking at MMMX or MMSD!

I was actually working on the Continental delivery livery for the SGA model, then left it in the paint shop about 75% completed...same with the TTA delivery livery...havent messed with either one in a couple years now... The DC-9s are going to be a reat addition to the HJG fleet, tons of liveries to paint, hours of fun to fly..

I think that mark on the grass is an oil stain from a lawnmower. I reckon the new model is an Airbus A380! Ian

All the 8s, 07s, 27s, here have great FDE. I can almost remember how funky the MS 98 737 flew. Overpower, Crazy Dynamics. Not too mention graphics, sound, etc . The 380 is an odd looking bird. Seems the only one avail on avsim is just too easy to fly, similar FDE to MS default planes.
