Hi, the 727's panel is probably not compatible with FSX. The model and textures should be though. And if you follow my general instructions of installing into FSX, the model make shouldn't be relevant. But as I said. The panel is not FSX-compatible ... (yet..?)

Dan..!
hello there, well I share the same problems as the friend above, I been dealing with FS9, and FSX for a while, to my surprise after all the correct procedures and all diferent ways of installing aircraft in to FSX, still I can manage to get either the late of early model of the boieng 727 in to the sim. I have also try diferent panel configurations, my own panels, and some other that work with any given model in FSX, still no luck!
any sugestions welcome
a 727 fanatic and lover, by the way what I great job you guys have done with HJG!

I specialize in FS9 .... so .... I can't really speak intelligently regarding FSX .... but remember .... the B727 panel we host is not FSX compatible at this time.
The basic B727-100 model should be FSX compatible though. The aircraft base pack file does contain both a default FS9 CFG file .... as well as an FSX specific CFG file too. The FSX CFG file must be activated in preference to the default version if this aircraft is to be used in FSX. Please make sure you have done this correctly.
"IF" the visual model is still not displaying within FSX .... then you may need to refer to Dan's very thorough, and recently simplified, FSX specific aircraft installatioin instructions which appear (above) on this forum page.

Sorry I can't asssist you definitively with this "SATENA71" (I'm not FSX), but, there's got to be a Step somewhere that you're either missing .... or .... not understanding !

Had the same problem here with one of the planes not showing at all, and another problem with the other planes not recognizing the Publisher and Aircraft Type filters even though I had added the proper "ui" lines to the FSX aircraft.cfg file. After racking my brain for the better part of an hour I fixed the problem.
In the "ui_type" line I simply added either "Late" or "Early" after "727-X00" to separate the models. Once I did that all worked as it should.
Just thought I'd share this in case anyone is still having problems.
