Hello all. I'm new to the forum and trying to follow protocol. I'd like to get permission to repaint and Amerijet B737-233 with reg N395AJ. I've actually completed it, but wanted to check here before releasing it. I can post a screenshot / promo shot if it would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

UMMM .... I've certainly got no problem at all with your request .... but .... there "IS" a puzzling problem though .... in that we (HJG) don't yet currently host a B737 for you to seek repaint approval from us for ! ;D Mark C AKL/NZ

YEAH .... I too wondered about the possibility of it being a "typo" (B737 versus B727) but for the fact that aircraft type name is stated "twice" .... and as "B737" .... both in the thread title and within his text I guess he can clarify that later on ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Another thing too .... "IF" he does indeed mean "B727" .... then it should be noted that our Tony MADGE has already painted the AMERIJET B727-100 for us. See "B727-100" downloads page .... see "B727-100C/F/QC" section in particyular .... as follows .... 1992 - N992AJ - 727-23F Textures by Tony Madge Last Updated: 23 Mar 2009 "JCBRYNER" .... I don't know if it's Tony's intention to do an AMERIJET B727-200 (it may well be .... considering he's already done the -100), so, I'm going to need to refer you back to him regarding this. OK Mark, good fun was had by you on my typographical error. We're all capable of the same mistake (my id is jsbryner not "JCBRYNER" -- see reply #4). Thank goodness Nick was on this thread; he picked up on the reg in my original post and the fact that Amerijet doesn't fly any guppies. Thanks Nick. Also, he picked up on the other details the Cantu model does not have. Not sure how to contact Tony. Thanks anyway.

WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT !!!! Nobody here was (or is) making any fun whatsoever of you .... or any "typo" either. We (speaking for myself) were simply uncertain as regarding what specific aircraft type you were actually intending to refer to .... and it was this we were querying among ourselves .... as is blatantly obvious by each of our above responses. Tony ..here... Re the 727 Amerijet, well yes I did the 100 version but as we do not have the winglet version I wont be doing the 200 as it wont be acurate If you want to paint one I am happy but I would suggest the Vans 727 which has winglets may be what you want, a search at flightsim.com will reveal its file name, if you want to use the textures I created for the 100 again I am happy for you to do that, I just ask you credit HJG for the textures. Cheers Tony

Tony, Thanks for the reply and for the offer to use your textures. I had a look at the Vans Aircraft Co. B72 models and found that Dave Torkington did several repaints of it in Amerijet's livery.
I think I'll do the repaint as the aircraft was in the late 1990's, before it was outfitted with winglets. I will certainly credit HJC when it is published.
Kind Regards, Jeff Bryner
