Wow, am I not a piece of work! I've just joined (rejoined?) this forum, and already I'm making demands (or more accurately, inquiries). Is it in the plans here to do the 727s in the late '70s Braniff Ultra color schemes? While I've seen it done from time to time, it tends to be just one color, usually the blue, which I have on FS9 on my computer somewhere, I'm sure, I'd like to see the whole spectrum, the Perseus Green, the Sparkling Burgundy, and even the terracotta. I was crazy about these when I was in high school, did a model of one (in Mercury Blue?), and they're still beautiful today. I'd found a online fleet list www.geocities.com/~aeromoe/fleets/bn1.html, but unfortunately no pictures of the burgundy anywhere. This is a scheme that can even be used on the -100 series jets, as two -30Cs from Lufthansa wore the Ultra scheme.

"YES IT IS" .... but .... I can't say when we'll be able to start offering them here though.
There's still a number of BRANIFF "Girard" liveries to be represented .... and all the others are planned .... in fact I've already been talking with one of our membr painters regarding these.
BRANIFF is special in that we can't do just 1 livery version only .... I feel.
If we're to do justice to this subject then we've really got to represent all the various livery versions the airline supported .... precisely as we've already done in the case of our BRANIFF B707, B720, & DC8 subject line.
When we do it the intention is to reprsent all those BRANIFF B727 liveries that we don't already offer .... for both -100 & -200 aircraft versions.
It could be a wee while before you start seeing them though.

Got Tom LE BLANC looking at all the missing BRANIFF liveries for us too .... including the late 1960's B727-100's, the 2 tone 1970's B727-200's, and the 1980's "ULTRA" liveries for the B727-200's .... and a few B727-100's as well !
Still a while away yet in terms of organisation, but, we'll preview as we go !

Tom LEBLANC has just previewed for us the first of his new installement of BRANIFF liveries .... featuring 1980's style "Ultra" liveries for B727-200 and per the following thread .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=previews&action=display&thread=2931All going well we might also see some of the rarer BRANIFF B727-100's which supported "Ultra" liveries .... as well as some 1970's "2-tone" variations for BRANIFF B727-200's as well ! I can't promise the BRANIFF "Calder" schemes for the B727-200's .... but .... will leave these up to Tom's discretion. Mark C BOG/CO

Thought I'd drop a line to express my appreciation for the Braniff Ultra liveries I recently had the opportunity to download. They're quite beautiful on my new laptop, once I figured out the problems with FS9 and Windows 7, I was blown away.
