Frontier never operated any of the original DC-9 Series. They did operate DC-9 Super 80s, otherwise known as MD-80s.
The MD-80s are not planned as part of the HJG DC-9 releases.

Yeah, I never did see a picture of a 'DC-9' in that livery, just the MD-80's.
Reminds me of the Continental Mark II automobile, which was not a Lincoln, but was built in the Lincoln factory. In 1958, they became absorbed and were thereafter, 'Lincoln' Continentals.

I downloaded it and, unfortunately, found it to have some severe texture problems. However, I did find another one just like it by Jason Vasquez (his first paint job), which was excellent.
