Hello,
I have been trying to install HJG aircraft and keep having the same problem. When I try to save the changes I have made in the aircraft folder after I have added a texture it comes up with a message saying "Make sure that the path and file name are correct". Im not an expert with computers but it does this with all textures I try to install not just HJG textures. I obviously must be doing something wrong so I was just wondering if anyone can help me.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the file you are trying to edit is infact write protected. right click on the file and select properties. then remove the checkmark in the Read-only box at the buttom. that should do it.

I unchecked the Read-Only files on the whole folder but still no luck and still coming up with the same message. Thanks for your help. Any other Ideas?

Only do it on the file, not the folder...

Still no luck unfortunatly. Could it be anything to do with windows vista as I had many of the aircraft before on an XP system but it crashed and I lost them all?

I do not know if you solved the problem. I had the same problem with Vista.
I solved this problem by going to Control Panel - User accounts and family protection - User accounts, and once there clicked on "Enable or Desable user accounts contol".

Hello Mark757:
I had the same problem, along with others, with Vista. I used the method mentioned above and that worked for me.
I aso found that the advice given by Dan in the FSX section of the forum, I had to disable the DX 10 preview feature in order for the airplanes to show up in the aircraft menu.
