Just to be clear: when you say you are using Jon Murchinson's air and config files, are these the ones that come with our base pack download?? OR, did you get them from some other source? If you are using our base pack then you should see a section in the cfg file:
[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 3, 1, -43, 2.5, fx_navredh , light.1 = 3, 1, 43, 2.5, fx_navgreh , light.2 = 2, -44.5, 0.00, 3.4, fx_strobeh , light.3 = 2, 0, -43, 2.5, fx_strobeh , light.4 = 2, 0, 43, 2.5, fx_strobeh , light.5 = 1, 13.5, 0.00, 7, fx_beaconh , light.6 = 1, 8.8, -2.3, -6.5, fx_beaconb , light.7 = 4, 42.0, 0.00, 1.102, fx_vclighth,
the very first line is for the red Nav light and should be there.
Our base pack cfg file has the lights listed and they should work with no problem.
As far as the gear setting down into the ground a bit, that may be. Can you tell me what is the plane's weight when this is happening?
Mike

thx for a quick response =)
ok just checked the lights... all seems to be there in the config.. still no light...
i use the replacement air and config files that comes with matthias avro RJ panel.. because i prefer the avro panel..in the panel package there is files for the BAE 146 300...made by murchinson.. and mathias recommend using them with the AVRO RJ panel..i actully cross checked the config file with the one from the basepack of the aircraft.. cant really see any difference in them....dunno bout the air file tho.. havent oopened it and compared it with the one from the basepack.
about the sinking wheels... i have 10% fuel in tanks and zero weight in plane.. the nose wheel is good.. only the main gear that sinks down in ground abit...
cheers =)
edit, just did a check on the air file... the one that comes with the basepack of the BAE 146 300. this is the first line int the Airfile: BAe146-200QT 1 Replacement FDEs for Jon Murchisons BAe146-200QT Ï Cruise Speed
and this is the airfile i,m using now: BAe146-300 / Replacement FDEs for Jon Murchisons BAe146-300 Ï Cruise Speed
not sure it helps.
anyway... gonna try the original files with the avro panel.. see what happens...
cheers =)

Well, if you are using a panel and base pack different from what we have here then there's not much we can do to help. The air and cfg files we supply have been modified slightly (by myself ), so they are not the same as the originals. The mods included some FDE changes and also some changes in contact points which did address the issue of the wheels "sinking" a bit. I suspect the problem with the lights lies in the panel you are using even if it does come from Jon and Matthias. If you use the panel and base packs from our downloads and still have a problem, then we can work on the issue. Mike

copy that... i will install the original files and panel and see what happens.. (prolly gonna work =P)
and i thought the avro RJ panels was part of this.. sry my mistake=) and yea .. i think it its in the panel itself.. swapped to original files but still no go in the light.. but wheel came up =)
cheers=)
