Hello HJG Painters; Believe it or not, but AC did operate the 727-200 for a number of years in the 70' and 80's. Would'nt mind seeing it in the 727 inventory, please. Herman

Herman,
If you look over on flightsim, Frank Idone did two lovely repaints of the VL 727-200 in Air Canada and CP Air colours - I presume these will work on the HJG version (unless the model has changed)?
Regards,
Jim

Hello Jim & Mark Thank you gentlemen for your info. I shall pay a visit to the mentioned web site but I would still prefer if one of our friends at HJG did the model. Happy Canada Day, Jim. You may have noticed a location change for me, as my wife and I recently moved to Sidney BC. What a beautifull place this is. Victoria International is located a short distance from Sidney and it has a small but quite impressive Air Museum. One of it,s prised possessions is a Vickers Viscount 745 in TCA colours. It was also a pleasant surprise to learn that the curator is a fellow that I had worked with for many years prior to my retirement. Once again the old cliche.... It,s a small world....applied. Cheers; Herman

I presume you mean "TEXTURE". Considering the mentioned AC and CP testures are quite old now .... by comparison with most, though not all, of what we've released since introducing the B727 project here, I guess anything is possible See what happens .... no promises though ! Mark C BOG/CO

I'm re-working the Air Canada Cargo "-022" texture I did a few months back. It will be finished soon.
I can't see myself doing a -233 livery though, since Frank Idone absolutely owned that one a while back. It would be overkill to do it again IMO.

Happy Canada Day to you too Herman, and Empress, and all other Canadians on the board (how's it goin' eh?)

Maybe so .... but .... I'm certainly not going to stand in the way of any of our guys that may want to take a stab at these same subjects .... we're pretty libral like that here. Please note I do say "MAY" in this case .... because I often really don't know what our guys future intentions are until they sometimes announce these privately. All I do know is that it's not unusual for some of our guys to feel sufficiently strongly about a particular subject to want to do their own representation of it .... and regardless whether or not that same subject has been previously represented by someone else, and, without the slightest intention whatsoever of wanting to compete with the original subject either. All that results from this sort of liberty is "SOMEONE ELSES VERSION" .... and then .... "OUR VERSION" .... and I do know for a fact that some folk download "BOTH" in such cases. It's entirely up to each of our guys really ! Mark C BOG/CO
