Couple things to remember:
This is a bare metal tail, unlike new AA paints
There is both a regular -223 and a -223ADV
There are some -227's which were acquired from Braniff

Being more recent, the newer AA versions .... by our "mystery/guest/friend of HJG" painter .... these should also represent a newer, and by implication better, standard of texture than those available per much earlier released versions.
