Hi everyone/ Mark, Me again...Gauge problem this time. I've downloaded the generic FS2004 Alternative 707/720/C135 Panel by Verlin, Balzarotti+Probst (Feb2008) and the guages don't appear. Now at the very top of the D/load page is the Core File/Gauges by George Carty. Is there a preferable file out of these two considering that the Alternate includes panel, gauges, modules & panel sounds? I do unzip to a Temp folder (720 un-zip) on my D/top to keep things fairly orderly and I print out and tick off each instruction from the Instal Ins. document. cheers Nick

Remember .... that file is FS2002/FS2004 compatible "ONLY".
The gauges supplied with that panel file (and they are there) should be installed inside the "GAUGES" folder of FS.... then the actual Panel folder installed inside the "FSFSCONV" folder and the default PANEL.CFG of you aircrafts panel folder then aliased to the FSFSCONV folder .... this's the best/recommended way to do things as per the accompanying installation instructions.
I can't remember if that particular panel requires the old FS SOUND.DLL or not.
It may do !
I think that module .... if required .... is also provided within that particular panel download.
PLEASE NOTE .... the B707 panel GAUGES/CORE FILES for George CARTY's panels have no relationship whatsoever with Michael VERLIN's generic panel. All files required by this other/alternative panel are provided within the downloadable file.
Please consult the accompanying installation instructions to verify this .... and what you've so far done too.

OK .... do what I've indicated above .... and you should experience no problems whatsoever ! It's a good panel .... in both FS2002 & FS2004 in which I used to have it installed It's .... because of it's generation .... a little more simplistic than George's excellent panel series, but, otherwise works very well indeed Mark C AKL/NZ
