I am building a full scale DC-8 flight deck with WideFS technology. I am going to use HJG,s Scanair DC-8-63 (1982), with your panel made for DC-8-62/63. The construction is handmade and the hardware is from different manufacturer like SAITEK, Desktop Aviator, Go Flight and many others. HJG,s DC-8-62/63 panel is the best i could find, but there is still some trouble to solve. In order to use the overhead panel, lights, meckcall, engine start buttons fuel buttons (usually operated with the computer mouse) i must find the keystroke. This is important in programming the hardware.
Can you please help me with the key commands for different function for the DC-8-62/63 panel. I will post pictures of the project as it progress, you can find the pictures at my homepage linked from my profile.

Hey Lars, sounds like a real interesting project. If I understand what you're talking about... I think those functions are unassigned. So the keystrokes are custom assigned by each user in FS. (That is, if they can even be assigned...) Hope that helps Dee

Many thanks Dee,
I think the answer kan be found in Peter Dawsons FSUIPC module (payware of course), that is if FSUIPC can communikate with the gauge in HJG,s panel. At the moment i am workeing on the rudder pedals, in order to syncronizise left and right seat.
I do have a complete AFM for DC-8-63, as a support in my project and of course my god friend Hans Jacobsson.
Best regards Lars

Unless of cause you use the FSX SDK, in which case you can use the SimConnect
