I am experiencing another problem with the Vista system which I did not have with XP.
The problem occurs when I save a flight, and then return later to resume the flight, at which time none of the control buttons on my CH yoke function. The only way I have been able to restore their proper function is, by shutting down and restarting my PC.
Also when doing a replay on FSX the replay is very unstable and jerky.
Any ideas as to what may be the cause and remedy for this would be appreciated.

Try to run FS "as an Administrator" in order to let FS be able to alter files .... or just generally turn off the UAC in Vista. That would cure a lot of these access right problems...

THank you Dan for your reply. I do have my UAC turned off, as this is the only way I am able to make changes to cfg files.
I still don't understand the reason for the loss of control of all three ( yoke, throttle, rudder)control functions. As I mentioned before, this only happens when I save a flight, leave my PC on, and then return a bit later to continue the flight. It is as if my PC or Vista is not recognizing that my flight controls are plugged in. I am able to continue the flight by changing the flight peramatures with the mouse and auto pilot.
