I have only just joined (although I have been using your DC-8 and 707 models for quite a while) and I am wondering if it would be possible for someone to do a 1965 livery for the DC-8-62 and/or -63.
Thanks
Tobias

Sorry aulde son .... BUT .... at HJG we only represent realworld airline history for FS .... avoiding completely what we term "FAKE PLANES/LIVERIES". HOWEVER .... if any of our members, or anyone else out there in the FS community too, wishes to take on your request .... then I/we have no problem at all with that Just a little historical note here .... QANTAS AIRWAYS might well have become a DC8 operator way back in 1959 had it not been for Douglas's initial reluctance refusal to compromise its basic DC8 design (unlike what Boeing did for both QANTAS and BRANIFF) .... a decision which was cost Douglas a number of production contracts during the DC8's early production years. QANTAS needed a jet aircraft (SUPER CONSTALATION replacement) to fly its long Pacific route to San Francisco .... an beyond. The COMET 4 was considered too small, so, Douglas were first presented with QANTAS's needs/proposition, but, were reluctant to shorten the DC8 (lacking Boeing's huge military/government investment in the C135 program it simply couldn't afford to change/adapt its basic aircraft designs as easily as Boeing could) in order to increase range at a slight payload penalty. The rest is history/documented. Boeing shortened it's basic B707-120 by 10FT in order to produce the B707-138 (later fanjet upgraded to -138B standard) in response to QANTAS requirements .... a total of which only 13 aircraft were ever produced. Had QANTAS become a DC8 operator during these early years .... then it is highly likely that the airline would remained with Douglas and eventually operated aircraft like the DC8-62 & -63. Anyone interested in learning more about development of both the B707 & DC8 may like to refer to the following HJG historical articles ....
