The most common reason .... if not "THE ONLY REASON" for this sort of experience .... is a simple CFG error.
Check that the TEXTURE= data entry for your textureless aircraft read absolutely in accordance with the actual downloaded texture file name for the aircraft livery you want to display.
For example .... if a texture folder is named texture.us_air_1982_22_n7035u .... the the TEXTURE= line in your ADD TO AIRCRAFT CFG data should then read as follows ....
Texture=us_air_1982_22_n7035u
I'm sure you'll find that's the very nature of the error which is causing your display problem.
Make sure you are also using your selected textures with the correct aircraft base pack files too.
Your FLYING TIGERS DC8-63F texture should only be used with the DC8-63F aircraft base pack.
Unfortunately you don't state which particular MK AIRLINES class of DC8 you are trying to install, but, as each of the MK aircraft we represent are freighters, then these textures should only be used with either DC8-50F, DC8-62F, or DC8-63F aircraft base packs.
FYI .... All HJG DC8-CF & F aircraft use DC8-F aircraft base backs for each class of aircraft. All other HJG DC8 aircraft use the standard DC8 aircraft base packs for each class of aircraft.
