I now have another problem.
I flew twice with the Caravelle 6N early model and both times after landing I couldn´t turn anymore. I saw the ailerons moving on my wing when I steered but my nose wheel just didn´t turn and I ended up taxiing in a straight line only. It could only be solved by reloading the plane again. I have to say the first time I thought it would be me as I landed a bit hard and fast, but the second time was a textbook landing at slower speed and with vertical speed of -200 feet/min. I luckily didn´t have to correct on landing but couldn´t leave the runway which was kinda annoying for the plane behind me as he had to go around...
Now, the second time this happened I decided to move throttle forward again and take off, after take off ailerons were effective again, could turn, steer and eventually crash in a mountain.
I have to say on both of these occasions I used FSpassengers.
After that I did a quick test without FSpassengers, taking off on a long runway, once airborne immediately cut back throttle and land again. This time taxiing worked just fine.
Now I´m puzzled, is it a conflict with FSPassengers that could be causing this or is it something I have to adjust in flight to be able to use my wheel on landing again, as in the quick go and touch I didn´t retract my gear which might have to do something with it?
That said, I had a look in the checklist and I didn´t see anything I didn´t do that could have influence...
Help appreciated.

Yes in the PT-Tu-154 forum there was also reported, that FS passanger doesnt work together with advanced panels like the Caravelle or the PT Tu 154 one. Kind regards Walter

OK .... that's likely your answer then "PANTHERA" .... "a potentially bad interaction with the FS PASSENGER program/utility" .... which we can do nothing about . We can't test every simulation with every known FS utility available ..... of course .... so the like of this was sort of issue was completely unknown to us. Thanks for your help there "WALTERLEO" I can otherwise confirm that all of the AFG CARAVELLE simulations hosted by us/HJG work "splendidly" .... as supplied by us Mark C AKL/NZ

Thank you Walterleo for the reply, appreciated.
And aerofoto, don´t worry, I understand completely. I think it´s amazing what you (I know the Caravelle is from another group, but I had a test run in the L1011 as well and it is equally amazing, freeware for payware quality) produce for a game that is so old now.
In the end, some things are gonna clash I guess, but without those potential conflicts we would have a lot less fun.

Just to report back in case someone else is experiencing the same problem:
I just did a test with the Caravelle 3, it seems to be working fine with FsPassengers. So it might just be the one model affected for one reason or another.

If one CARAVELLE model version works OK with that particular utility .... then it's reasonable to assume the others should all work fine with it also .... since the CARAVELLE 1/1A, 3, 6N, 6R, and 10R/B1 models are all essentially represent the same aircraft/model design .... differing only in their engines, panels, and performances. Just coming back to your loss of NG steering issue for a moment .... There is a known issue whereby if one changes CARAVELLE aircraft more than once or twice .... by way of either texture to other texture for the same model, or, by way of model to other aircraft type model .... all within the same FS session .... then one will likely experience an inability to retract both the flaps and landing gear. I therefore wonder if the same might also apply .... in your case .... and in regard to your perceived loss of NG steering .... if you have alternated between other CARAVELLE aircraft or textures within the same FS session. In this case the problem "might not' be in relation to the utility you're using at all ! It's just a thought ! In respect of what I've communicated above .... the "recommended" text book procedure is actually to load a default MSFS aircraft between any CARAVELLE changes .... which then restores FS to it's "basic default aircraft configuration" and will generally remedy any such problems/issues. Remember .... when alternating between different aircraft types within the same FS session .... FS will always apply the last used aircraft configuration situation to the next aircraft selection within that same FS session .... and which can inadvertently invoke such issues. Mark C AKL/NZ

Hello guys, I recently downloaded and installed AFG Caravelle 10R (an excelent work from all points of view) with three textures: Aero Lloyd, CTA and Transwede. I found a (little but annoying) mismatch: - the name of the Cta texture folder is: "texture.10R-CT" - The coresponding line in the "add to aircraft.txt" file from the same package "se-210-10r_cta_1985_10r_hb-icq" is: "texture=cta_1985_10r_hb-icq". Changing the line in: "texture=10R-CT", the CTA painting appears on the plane. I hope this can be helpful for someone. Best regards.

Thanks for the HU.
Looks like I slipped up on the copy & paste for the texture file name when converting its original name (as supplied) to relect HJG file naming conventions.
The texture file name should have read ....
texture.cta_1985_10r_hb-icq
Therefore the TEXTURE= data line in the CFG/ADD TO AIRCRAFT data should read ....
Texture = cta_1985_10r_hb-icq
