You all are busy I know, so if you feel the urge sometime... this is one I remember from my younger days... Ozark Airlines used to fly out of KRST... they had D/C 3's, 4's or 6's but did go to DC 9 before being sold to TWA ( I believe it was twa). It's not real fancy, but lots of memories. A good subject though !
It has been sufgested a number of times previously in fact.

My grandfather was a pilot for Ozark in the late fiftties til the early sisties when he went over to TWA. Ozark did operate the DC-3, Convair 240, Martin 4-0-4 as their piston aircraft. They entered the jet age with the turboprop Fairchild FH-227-B and the DC-9-10. Later they did have the DC-9-30. For a while , Ozark had a few DH Twin Otter flying out of Meigs field in Chicago and later also flew the Metroliner on some commuter flights out of St. Louis. When TWA took them over they also had the DC-9 Super 80 and I do believe the DC-9-50. There was a Boing 727-200 but it never entered pasenger service. People sometimes made fun of Ozark calling the fairchilds funny birds or rattle traps but I allways enjoyed flying in the Fairchilds with the big windows and sitting where the weel was right outside the window. Ozark was a great airline to fly on and their cabin service was second to none. The planes I flew on were always were very clean and the stews always friendly. Iw was a shame to see Ozark go into history. They were one of the best airlines flying, but just about all of the smaller feeder airlines went all out and out did the big airlines in my opionion.

Ozark! I had forgotten about that airline. I think they did make a few flights into Denver, which is how I got to know about that airline.
Good catch!

The old SGA DC-9 series have the Ozark paint you're looking for as well as a TWA scheme (I don't know which one). Perhaps the SGA models will serve as a drastic measure until the paints are available for Nick's fabulous DC-9 series.

I would love to see Ozark. They flew the -10,-30,-40 and -80 series. Ozark repaints for the three DC9s would be greatly appreciated.

I don't want to sound like a "stuck record" (damaged CD) .... BUT .... we'll just have to wait'n'see.
