Greetings,
I haven't been on here for a while so apparently my acct was deleted and I had to setup a new one. My question is where can I find the repaint/textures of the TGA 707 on the home page? I have tried a search but came up empty. The airport movies were some of my all time favorite airline movies (the original "airport" & "airport 75" especially) I still to this day don't know why anybody didn't do a repaint of a 747 in the Columbia 409 livery..
Anyway thanks for the help and hopefully I stay current enough so I don't get deleted again..

That was painted by our very own Tony MADGE .... and I do believe you'll find that particular texture over on the FLIGHTSIM.COM website. Try searching "MADGE" .... or alternatively .... "TONY MADGE"It is there ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Does anybody know which 707 panel would work best for this aircraft?

It's a B707-320B ADVC .... so .... you should used it with the following Aircraft Base Pack ....
Boeing 707-320B (Advanced)
Use either of the following 2 panels ....
B707-320B/C "Adv"
B707-320B/C "1970"
And use either of the following 2 soundpacks ....
P&W JT3D-3B FANJET B707-320B
P&W JT3D-7 FANJET B707-120B, -138B, -320C; B720B
That combination should really see you "f-l-y-i-n-g"

Actually .... now you mention it .... it might have been a "C" too ;D Because it's "fictional" livery .... the very first ever done for what was then our brand new "VERSION 6" B707 models by Gary CARLSON .... I must admit to not really ever paying much attention to this subject If it's a "C" .... then that won't affect the above soundpacks or panel recommendations .... because either of these may be used with it .... BUT .... in this case the texture should then be used with our "B707-320C Aircraft Base Pack".Sorry about that A "Senior Moment" .... on my part folks ! ;D Mark C AKL/NZ

You know, although it was a fictional livery, it was painted on a real world aircraft which was taxied, flown and landed at least once (probably several times) for the purposes of shooting the movie.
I would think that might qualify it to slip into the HJG inventory, similar to the Hamburg Airport 707-420 (which has never actually flown has it?)?
Just a thought.... (I quite enjoyed flying the TGA 707 into O'Hare... in a real world heavy snowstorm by sheer coincidence!)
Regards,
Jim

Actually I was thinking along those very same lines too when I first replied the other day .... SO .... "IF" Tony wishes to do this then I've got no problem with that.
I've heard that a B720-B was also painted into that same TGA livery too .... and used during filmimg when the B707 wasn't available, so, if someone could confirm that .... which also means providing a registration too .... and maybe an image as well .... then, maybe, Tony might like to consider doing it as well.
Up to Tony though !

From Internet Movie Data Base: "The real star of the show, the Boeing 707 (a 707-349C, serial no. 19351 [503rd 707 off the production line], originally registered N324F), was leased to MCA/Universal Pictures from Flying Tiger Line (now merged with Fedex) for the filming of the exterior shots. After filming was completed, the aircraft returned to Flying Tigers and was later sold, going through various owners before meeting a tragic end while on an approach to landing accident on 21 March 1989 in Sao Paulo, Brazil." To my understanding, it was that one and only plane that was used for the entire movie. www.airliners.net/photo/El-Al-Israel/Boeing-707-349C/0978053/&sid=6ac5b4332522bfd4bf94df0e4adb51efwww.707.adastron.com/qantas/VH-EBZ.htm
