Hello HJG people,

I recently started a virtual airline which flies classic planes only. We fly many planes that you have made for FS2004. Caravelle 6R, 707-120B, CV-990, 727-100, and the DC-8 very soon. Not one of the CEO's is capable of repainting an aircraft. So would you please do that for us if we send you guys a design? Of course we can do something in return if you want?

We .... at HJG .... only undertake realworld repaint subjects and don't normally undertake such requests for VA's .... HOWEVER .... if any of our team, or anyone else too, feels motivated to assist you and wishes to do so then I've got no problem regarding that .... provided that whatever is supplied to you remains freely available to all whom wish to enjoy it, and that all original authors are appropriately credited within each release.

Only the B707's and DC8's, on your list, are indeed HJG owned models.

The CARAVELLE's remain the property of AFG.

And both the CV990, and all the B727's belong to Erick CANTU/VISTALINERS .... hosted here by kind authorization.

I think you'll have "A jOB" .... because the VISTALINERS website is, apparently, no longer in existence.

AFG are still around though .... and are our suppliers/partners in respect of the CARAVELLE project.

It's "OURS"/Nick BOTAMER's .... and "YES WE ARE".

And why have the Vistaliners CV990 and the the HJG DC-8 the same overheadpanel?

Firstly .... those panels aren't VISTALINER's products. They are HJG's own productions for those said models.

Secondly .... in the case of the CV990 panel .... it's a partial generic overhead only and not a full representation or even authentic .... and in respect of the latter we were never able to make it so anyway due to the absence of suitable reference material.

Thirdly .... what's represented is what "WE"/HJG elected to do .... "for convenience" .... in respect of wanting to be able to impliment a reasonably authentic pneumatic air pressure system for engines startups with our CV880 and CV990 panels and which the original versions lacked .... and for this the DC8 overheads provided the best/"a ready made" solution.

Looking to the future regarding this. No revisions/updates are planned for any of these panels .... beyond a very minor gauages/core files update which we'll be releasing very soon.

I have looked for AFG but I cant find them (I can find them, not their e-mail). Anyone knows how to contact them? Thanks.
Also, if Vistaliners doesnt exist anymore, what do I have to do to get out 721 repaint? I would love to do it myselve but I dont know how. Does anyone know (yeah, of course someone knows, but would you please explain it to me)?
