I installed the new 12/17/09 panel core files tonight for both the 880 and 990 series. Everything works fine except when I try to access the overhead panel with the "ovh" toggle. At that point both panels crash with the "We're sorry Flight Simulator has to close . . ." message. The offender appears to be cv880sw.gau according to the detail report. The other windows open correctly but the overhead crashes every time. The cv880sw.gau controls the operation of the other windows as well but they function correctly.
Has anyone else encountered this? Any insight would be welcome.

I have now reported this to George .... so .... all I/we can now do is wait for a solution.

Thanks for your feedback Gary .... and thanks for those other kind sentiments too !  Thanks also to George CARTY for his prompt attention in quickly identifying the problem and providing this fix as well ! We occasionally trip up and fall over .... and break things in the process too .... BUT .... we also usually fix most of our WHOOPSY's pretty smartly ! ;D I'll get the new/replacement CONVAIR PANELS GAUGES/CORE FILES package uploaded for everyone as soon as is practical .... and then announce it accordingly later on. OK folks .... a full/complete new CONVAIR PANELS GAUGES/CORE FILES package has now been uploaded to our CONVAIR PANELS downloads page.If you have already updated/replaced your CV880SW.GAU using the link that was recently provided by George .... then you do not need to update it again, but, be sure that the last modified date of the CV880SW.GAU you're using does read "DECEMBER 28TH".If you've yet to update .... or .... are installing our CV880 and CV990 panels for the first time .... then download the "full/complete" CONVAIR PANELS GAUGES/CORE FILES package from our CONVAiR PANELS downloads page.
