When this texture is installed it shows up in FS as the 1964 AA texture. Please check and possibly correct. Thank you.

Please post your aircraft.cfg, as the problem most certainly lies there. Just checked the files, and they seem to be OK.

Herman .... it might also pay to check that you haven't inadvertently got a mix-up on your system between those textures for "N5604" (1962) which is a standard early CV990, and those textures for "N5611" (1964) which is a modified CV990-A. Both of these AA textures (above) are the same .... with only the aircraft registrations and livery dates differing. Both of these textures also use separate base packs too. The early CV990 is the original slower/unmodified version which couldn't meet the aircrafts promised performance .... even with max power .... as you'll find per our simulation, and the CV990-A is the later faster/modified version which will cruise at up to MACH 0.97 .... though anything from MACH 0.92 though to MACH 0.95 were more typical high altitude operating speeds for these aircraft versions, but, only at the expense of increased fuel burn rates. Quite an interesting aircraft ! Mark C AKL/NZ

Thank you gentlemen for your reply and suggestions.
As it turned out, the problem was indeed a mix up in my texture selection. All is ok now. Thanks again.
Yes, the CV 880 and 990 are indeed interesting and also very nice looking aircraft. It's unfortunate that they were unable to achieve the success as did some of the other jetliners of their time, but as you stated in your profile of these aircraft, they came along a bit too late.
