Hello.
I am a user of most of your Mil.135 acft.in my FS9.My FS9 is gone for ever. I am working on going to FSX.Thus far I did and will be going with windows 7 64 Bit system. After I get FSX installed and running,I know I'm going to have trouble downloading and re-installing all the HJG planes into FSX.A lot of the info I read here about installing the planes into FSX is way over my head.
Is it possible that HJG might provide the planes/panels/guages/sounds/effects etc., in your download section, where I could select an FS9 or FSX version?,or if it would be an HJG plan down the road.
I'm sure going to miss flying your planes until I do figure it out, mainly all of your Mil.,RC-135's,since I have had a lot of real time years with these planes, while in the U.S.A.F.
Just thought I would ask
THX

OK .... all our files that are FSX compatible already contain FSX specific data. One just needs to be careful/sure to activate the FSX specific CFG files, within both Aircraft Base Pack and Panel files, for these files to be able work in FSX. We don't propose to create yet more work for ourselves by seperating files into FS9 and FSX specific categories. We do feel the currently offered format is "more than adequate". Dan has compiled (on this forum page) a number of very thorough FSX installation tutorials .... and .... I'm sure he'll be prepared to guide you, or anyone else too, should any difficulties arise Mark C AKL/NZ

I understand about the cfg's in the base packs and panels(using the correct one.How about the paints/sounds and effects, unless they get installed as they would in FS9 etc.

1. Paints go in the SimObjects/airplanes/*destination bird. (Be sure to follow instructions for updating the aircraft.cfg fie). 2. Sounds go where the directions included with the downloaded aircraft dictate. 2. Effects go into the Effects subfolder in the main FSX directory.
Bottom line, the installation info is included with each sound, panel, effects, and aircraft file available here. If you run into trouble, give a shout and someone will help you out.
