I have downloaded two aircraft and when I load the plane, all of the gauges are missing and there is just round black holes instead of the gauges. I know its something really easy that I am missing. Thank you in advance for your help

I found my error. I had failed to download the base back in the Panels folder which contains the gauge files. I agree with Pogo from the comic strip.."we have met the enemy..and the enemy is us!"

Just make sure you downloaded ALL files required. There's usually FIVE different files for each aircraft:
The Base Pack Livery wanted Panel Core Sound
Hope that helps.

That's a "GOOD ONE" .... I like that ! ;D And "YES" ..... installing those Panel Core Files does work wonders in respect of panel completeness and gauge visibility Mark C AKL/NZ

Yes, have gotten many eye cramps figuring out blank textures and missing guages! Still happens occasionally. Usually it's minor self inflicted missing text error; ::)or forgetting to completely unzip extra panel, guage, sound, texture, scenery, folders within those aforementioned folders. Once you learn from (my), (your), (our), (these) mistakes you can soar like never before in FS9 or FSX. Have solved Grey Plastic Livery, Holy Missing Guages , and The Land of photo squeal issues! Check out You Tube videos with classic jetliners. You will be amazed at how real night time landings compare to FS9 views! Combining HJG Jets with photo real scenery likely improves frame rates in F'S9 over the same default F'S9 Scenery and Aircraft. Years ago, I could never imagine such a smooth running (Higher FPS) yet photo real experience with my PC system!

There's not one of us .... even among "US" highly experienced folk here .... whom haven't been guilty of falling into these same traps at some stage or other ! So you're not alone there my friend ! ;D Mark C AKl/NZ

Ah yes, holes in the instrument panel...I've done that more times than I'd like to admit.
