Hi all, HJG has done such a amazing job with these 9s, however don't know if its just me or the aircraft itself, however my DC-9-10 series nose wheel seems to sink inside the nose gear doors a bit. The other 9s have the top of the wheel right on the bottom of the gear doors. Is there something I could do on my part to correct this?
Thanks guys. I will be adding the shockwave lights to the rest of the 9 family soon. Stay tuned.
Bill

Nothing's been changed in respect of CONTACT POINTS or COG positions on any of the DC9 CFG files .... in fact the very few FDE changes which did occur are only those imposed by "PANEL COMPATIBILITY".
I suppose you could be taxiing overweight .... and may need to reduce a bit of weight to ensure your aircraft is at/near it's certified MGTOW (since all aircraft do feature a very modest overload by default) .... see my "BASIC FLYING GUIDES" (section 4 of my "DC9 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" posting) for specific fuel load information regarding this.
It could also be imposed by scenery too .... and by some sceneries more than others !

Here we go Bill .... one of my DC9-10/15 series aircraft sitting on the ground .... As can be seen above .... all seems to be OK there My files are precisely the same as those currently available here at HJG .... nothing I've currently got has been further modified In fact for the benefit of this image this .... all I've done here is adjust the fuel loading so that the aircraft is sitting on the ground at its precise maximum certified weight .... which in this case, for the JT8D-5 powered DC9-14, represents an MGTOW of 81,700 LBS.
