I’m encountering an intermittent buzzing sound with the DC 90-10 panel (TWA early). Have the sound pack installed. The buzzing sound occurs regularly and is accompanied by slight stutter in the panel (noticeable hesitation – frame rate loss). If I remember correctly, the Tinmouse panel was experiencing a similar trait, so it might be associated with the “sound.dll” module.
Any thoughts or ideas on the cause or cure?
Thanks, Rich

You might have a sound card .... or other internal devise/program issue to contend with there. I very much doubt there's anything we can do about this .... considering we've never encountered such a noise, or stutter, throughout our entire 10 month DC9 panel testing period. I'm not aware of anyone else reporting such an issue either .... and nor am I aware of any such issue having ever arisen with the old/original HILMERBY DC9 panel version, or, any of the current AEROMUSICA DC9 soundpacks .... which are derived from our long established B727 JT8D audio. What else have you got installed .... or .... running in the background of you PC, and possibly outside of/behind FS, that could contribute to both of these issues ? Have you maybe got your PC/FS sound sliders set too high .... to values which exceed the best performance of your PC audio system/device perhaps ? Also .... confirm that you are indeed using the FSSOUND.DLL and GAUGESOUND.DLL files provided with the DC9 panel/guages core files package. Good performance cannot be garunteed using any version of these 2 files other than those supplied as part of the package. Mark C AKL/NZ
