Hello All... Thanks for the great work done here. I hope I've not missed something but, I can't get the O/H Panel on the B727-200 Adv (V1.1) AC. to show. I'm using the P&W JT8D-17 As suggested.
I've clicked the Icon and get a wonderful view of the countryside ahead, but no panel. Checked through the site to see if I've missed something basic. Btw, No problems with this re: other 727's. All work brilliantly.
Also, checked the 'Drop-Down' - 'Instrument Panel' options and O/H Panel isn't given as an option. Is this implying that there isn't supposed to be an OH for this AC? Please could someone help with this. Thanks ZA

All of our B727 panels are equipped with the same O/H Panel .... and this functions fine in all B727 panel versions that we provide here.
At the bottom left of each B727 Main Panel is a row of 10 individidual icons .... which are used to command various sub panels into view. The O/H panel is commaned into view using the "up pointing" triangle icon .... which is the 4th icon from the right of this row ofd 10individual icons.
The O/H Panel .... because of its size .... is then closed using a similar "down pointing" triangle icon located on this particular sub panel view.
Unless one has modfied, or attempted to modify, their PANEL.CFG file, and maybe made an errors in the process of doimg that .... then there are no known issues/problems associated with any of the O/H Panel sub panel view provided with any of the B727 panels offered by us.

Hello again. Thanks for your reponse aerofoto. I went back and double checked the icons. Please see attached. On the 727-200. I've got the 'up-pointing' Icon. But no 'down-pointing' icon. This is the panel I've got problems with. The B727-200 'Non advanced' (for the want of a better term) Again..same 'up' icon. no 'down' icon. this works fine and I close the panel by way of a 'X' (top right corner) of the OH panel. As for editing. The only editing I do is the addition of new textures (my limits to be honest) and the edits in the 'Known Issues' part given on the really helpful support for installation. So not clear what is wrong here. Thanks for your time re: this. ZA

Hello Again.. The problem with the missing OH panel I had... has now been resolved. I deleted the panel I had in the fsconv folder and re-installed the one that I'd downloaded originally. All seems well now. No sign of the 'downward pointing triangle' though. Attached (hopfully) is said panel..with the 'X' I use for closing it. I'm curious as to why this might have happened. I did as advised in the instructions (I'm actually getting quite competent at downloading now these AC ) As said, didn't mess with the cfg. at all. Any ideas? just for future reference. Thanks for your time. ZA

The Richard PROBST B727 panels we offer "HERE" supersede all previous versions of these same panels .... including that originally released by Richard PROBST himself. Always use the latest panels we offer "HERE" (for any any of our aircraft) as anything else may not be entirely compatible with our FDE. Our 6 B727 panels were last updated early last year .... to replace the original (1 only) BETA panel version which we offered when we first launched the B727-100 during late 2008. There have been no updates/changes to any of these panels since last uploaded early last year when the current range of 8 individual B727 panels was first offered. Your experience is strange .... to say the least .... and to be perfectly honest I've never heard of something like this before .... that I can immediately recall Just call it "B727-200" The B727-200 ADVC .... and all the other individual B727 versions too .... are each different aircraft in terms of engine thrust, weights, and wing etc. SORRY .... that's my mistake ! I was thinking of the DC9 panels when I mentioned a "down-pointing" triangle icon to close the O/H Panel. Just to recap .... Use the "up-pointing" triangle icon (on the Main Panel) to open the O/H Panel. To close the O/H Panel use the "X" icon located at the top right of this panel view .... as you appear to have correctly observed. Mark C AKL/NZ

Hello There... Thanks for the response. As usual, very helpful. It is odd/unusual. I try to double check with the 'which panel what plane' for these AC (hope I've got that the right way round) to get it right, same with 'sounds' I could've mentioned I use FSX, if that has any influence on this. Anyway, all's resolved. As for the 'D'ward Pointing Arrow' Thanks..I was going mad figuring that out. The amount of work involved in all of this looks massive..so easily missed, me thinks Thanks again...talking of work..can I be cheeky and request more African 'old' Airlines please ZA

In respect of WHAT PANEL and WHAT SOUND .... for each of our B727 aircraft .... here is what we/HJG recommend .... WHAT PANEL WHICH PLANEWHAT SOUND WHICH PLANEDo as is recommended above and your experience should be "more than enjoyable" I also recomend that folk new to our VISTALINERS/HJG hosted B727 aircraft should take time to familirarise themselves with my B727 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES posting .... which appears on the ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT FORUM page Although our B727 panels are designed essentially for FS2004 use these "ARE" compatible with FSX too. My colleague Dan K.HANSEN has posted series of superb reference notes, on our FSX SUPPORT forum, regarding the installation and configuration of our aircraft and panels within FSX. Please refer to these notes .... and maybe .... in future .... post FSX related queries on our FSX SUPPORT forum page Mark C AKL/NZ

Hello aerofoto... Thanks a great deal..As usual V. helpful...
I've seen Dan's work. As it was Boeing I thought I'd narrow it down a bit. But will keep that in mind for next time. Please keep up the good work. These AC are excellent. Dankie ZA
