Guys,
I've noticed that there very few truly "classic" KC-135s or C-135s available. How about a few bare metal and dayglo birds? Does HJG have an original short tail KC-135 model?

It's the lack of an early short tail KC135 model that is the reason why we don't have these aircraft represented here .... yet !
Our B707 Project Manager (Gary CARLSON) has been tied-up for some time .... and will likely continue to be so for a some further duration yet .... I sure fiolk appreciate what rsponsibilities to a young family mean aye !

Mark: I am a former crew chief on a "tall" tail KC-135A that was in the Dayglo, Chromalloy, etc. paint in the mid 70s to 1983. The short tails vanished early on, Sometimes you would see a test bird with a short tail. That paint job was replaced by a gloss gray that looked pretty good.
If someone decides to do a repaint, It sure would not bother me to see 57-1479 coming from the 22nd Bomb Wing or the 452 Air Refueling both from March pumping 670 gallons of water through those J-57s for 2 minutes down a runway on a hot day carrying 160,000 pounds of fuel.
You just haven't had a real thrill in your life until you have ridden up front particularly during a MITO.
Take Care, John
