Hi, I have tried to install the DC-9s many times but when ever i hit "Fly Now" fs2004 starts loading and then crashes. I have tried reinstalling the aircraft according to the readme's multiple times. I am running fs2004 on a windows vista computer and all other HJG models work perfectly.

You've undoubtedly got "SOMETHING" in the wrong place .... and which is likely what's causing your problem Don't try to "WING IT" with the installation process. Make the slightest error and you "WILL" then increase the risk of experiencing what you say you're experiencing. Check that you've got all of the panel gauges files installed inside the FS "GAUGES" folder Check that you've got all of the panel sound files installed inside the FS "SOUND" folder .... that's the FS directory folder by that name and not the default Sound folder which accompanies each DC9 aircraft base pack. In so far as the panel modules are concerned .... check that you've got of the GAUGESOUND.DLL file installed inside the "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9" folder .... and .... check that you've also got the FSSOUND.DLL file installed inside the FS "MODULES" folder .... and then .... check that you've edited the FS9.CFG file with the following data lines .... [OLDMODULES] FSSound.dll=1I recommed the above edit be copied & pasted to eliminate potential for typographical error. Not carrying out any one of the above steps properly is the only thing that will cause what you say you're experiencing .... as was experienced also by the following forum member and fixed per my similar advice .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=3931Mark C AKL/NZ
