I'd like to request some repaints for the great airlines of yesteryear who serviced the Caribbean. It just seems to be the "Red Headed Stepchild" genre of repaints. Go to any of the usual suspect FS sites, do a search for BWIA or ALM and see what you come up with. I do see you guys have the ALM DC-9-15, and that's way cool. If we could see some birds for BWIA, you would make a lot of guys down in the Vatsim VATCAR division very very happy. If you need anything specific as far as pictures go, we have plenty of resources from which to pull. Thanks in advance, Chuck Bailey Vatsim Piarco FIR

You know right after I posted, I noticed the 727s and the Air Jamaica DC-8s. A bunch of us recently have been talking about just the overall lack of, among others, BWIA paint jobs out there. I was just showing the HJG site to a couple of guys that had never been here before and we started discussing the old Air France Caravelles, the BWIA L1011s, and some of the other more obscure "here today gone tomorrow" carriers. I see now you guys have actually bucked the trend and really have done the old birds some justice. For that I say thanks and please continue the great work you've been doing. It is greatly appreciated.

If it's of interest to you Tony .... the BWIA INTERNATIONAL livery applies to both DC9-34 and DC9-51.
The basic BWIA livery for both types is identical .... in terms of tail logo and fuselage striping .... BUT .... the "legend" associated with the fuselage titles differ as follows ....
BWIA INTERNATIONAL DC9-34 (9Y-TFI) "TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AIRWAYS"
BWIA INTERNATIONAL DC9-51 (9Y-TGP) "WE ARE THE CARIBBEAN"
Could be nice/popular subjects .... both versions !

OH WELL .... the more then "the merrier". Those BWIA's are a nice livery ! I think both aircraft versions (i.e. the -34 and the -51) might each have supported the same legends during different periods .... the differences in these legends rsulting from different marketing/advertising branding during different periods. I've got imagery relating to each aircraft type supporting each of the 2 legends which can be provided .... if you require it Leave it with you Tony Mark C AKL/NZ
