That fuselage striping would also lend itself to the old HAWAIIAN AIR DC9-30 livery too .... of the late 1970´s and 1980´s.

Huh - I never thought about that but you are right. Very similar livery.
I have a special place in my heart for ALM - I flew on them quite a bit when I was younger on family trips to Bonaire. We usually picked them up out of MIA, ATL, TNCA or TNCM, but for a two great years ALM actually flew direct to Bonaire out of JFK.
It involved a 20 minute moon buggy ride from the terminal waaaaaaaaay out on the tarmac to where ALM could afford to park, but as a kid my brother and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. ;D

Similar but with differences such as the bottom color extending further down on Hawaiian's planes. Also, Hawaiian's DC-9-30s only wore the read cheatline livery and were all disposed of in favor of the DC-9-51s by the end of 1976. Interestingly enough there were also three DC-9-10s that also recieved the two curves livery at Hawaiian.

FYI .... we currently have an ALM DC9-10 available .... thanks to Tony MADGE. Ah yes, I must have passed it up since its in the retro/original livery. I suppose I should amend my request for aa DC-9-30 in the second, more modern ALM livery! ;D

During the late 1970´s and early 1980´s it likely would have been a DC8-50 .... and it´s also likely they might, on occasions, even have leased DC8-50 aircraft from KLM considering the cloe relationship that existed beteen both carriers.
We do have an ALM liveried DC8-50 represented among our DC8-50 inventory .... see our "DC8-50" downloads section.
Thanks Tony !
Since the ALM upper fuselage striping is so similar .... might a HAWAIIAN AIR DC9-30 appeal to you also .... using those decal I sent you for the L1011´s ?
